Los convertidores CC/CA de PMI, tienen topología de puente completo, esta topología permite la conmutación cero de tensión (ZVS) para todos los dispositivos de conmutación, esto significa bajas pérdidas de conmutación y convertidores eficientes. Si los niveles requeridos de tensión son diferentes que la tensión de CC generada en la salida del Rectificador, podemos convertir tensión de CC de la salida del Rectificador a otra tensión de CC con un sistema completamente aislado.
